  • We will be evaluating the impact of COVID-19 on a daily basis.
  • Our regularly scheduled Board Meeting that was to be on April 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. has been cancelled due to lack of Agenda and for the health and wellness of our Board members and the public.
  • No burn permits are being issued at this time per Governor Whitmer’s orders
  • Please utilize the drop box at the main entrance of the Monroe Charter Township Hall, for any correspondence.
  • We will not be issuing passports at this time due to COVID-19.
  • Spring Household Hazardous Waste Day that was scheduled for  Tuesday, May 12, 2020 has been cancelled.
  • The regularly scheduled May 13, 2020 Zoning Board of Appeal hearing has been cancelled. No items were received or requested that would require an agenda. If needed, the next regularly scheduled hearing will be June 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Spring Clean-up Day will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Township Nature Center Parking Lot.

Covid-19: Operations Notice

In response to Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-21 and for the health and wellness of our employees, the Monroe Charter Township offices will be closed until May 18, 2020. 

Please utilize the drop box at the main entrance for any correspondence. For assistance or questions please email the appropriate department.
Voicemails may be left at Clerk’s office only, as it pertains to the May 5, 2020 Special Election or Voter Registration.
