Monroe Charter Township Parks & Recreation Survey

Monroe Charter Township is in the process of updating its Parks & Recreation Plan. A Parks & Recreation Plan helps guide parks and recreation prioritization and spans a five year period – 2024 to 2028. The Parks & Recreation Plan is used as a basis for obtaining grants and other funding for parks and recreation projects.

The plan will be rooted in the desires and visions of residents so we need you to share your opinions and great ideas for the future of Monroe Charter Township. If you are completing a hard copy survey, please return it to Township Hall mail slot (4925 E Dunbar Rd, Monroe, MI 48161) by Friday, May 10th, 2024.

A pedestrian bridge like the one by Saint Mary’s Park. One that connects from Waterloo Park to the bike/walking path on North Custer Road. Or one further down the river before Telegraph Street Bridge by Veterans Park where the river is possibly more shallow East of the Dam.
